Author/Lecturer, Dr. Robert Farrell, will be at Barnes & Noble – Larkspur (2020 Redwood Highway, Greenbrae, CA 94904) on Saturday, September 2, 2006 for an illustrated lecture and “Meet the Author” event. He will present his illustrated lecture titled The Science Behind Alien Log at 1 pm and will be available to sign copies of Alien Log, answer questions and chat with fans following the lecture. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Robert Farrell (retired Associate Professor Emeritus from Penn State University) combined his life-long interest in physics with ten years researching scientific fact and Sumerian belief to answer the question: are we alone? From the material gained, he created not only his Sci-Fi thriller – Alien Log, but also lectures on the topic.

Both, his book Alien Log and his lecture The Science Behind Alien Log, are unique in that they tie many esoteric issues together into one coherent picture. Dr. Farrell provides a “nuts and bolts” explanation of such scientific issues as the big bang theory, ancient Sumerian belief, how to discern between real and fake crop circles and what they tell us. He also discusses the views of other noted scientists and a retired Vatican official as well as at least one military-UFO encounter.
