Research reveals top Harry Potter holiday spots

(PRWeb UK) December 23, 2010

As Harry Potter mania sweeps the UK, travel portal Skyscanner has revealed the top destinations for Potter fans . Topping the poll is Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, where the majority of the scenes are filmed. The poll features other domestic destinations such as Lavenham, Suffolk and Freshwater West, West Wales, as well as the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Post Office Travel Insurance reminds Potter fans that even though many of the top destinations are in the UK, travel insurance offers peace of mind if visiting these destinations whilst on holiday..

For example, holiday insurance provides cover, regardless of destination, should luggage be lost or damaged in transit. Taking out travel insurance allows UK to make a claim on their travel insurance policy for the contents of the cases.

The Post Office also reminds travellers that a travel insurance policy will offer travel insurance cover for any medical costs incurred at overseas destinations such as the Florida theme park. Post Office Travel Insurance reminds travellers heading to the USA that they may need to check existing annual travel insurance documents to ensure that travel to destinations in the USA is fully covered.

Post Office Travel Insurance also offers cancellation cover with its travel insurance policy should any part of a holiday be cancelled, such as the transport or accommodation.

Hey, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
